Hi everybody,
I'm trying to design a tank per rules of API-650. The equipment is 8.7 m in diameter and 30 m in height and has the weight of shell plus roof and framing bigger than the internal pressure uplift force as stated in F.1.2. Then, i'm using the rules stated in paragraphs F.3 to F.6. At this moment i'm considering a self-supported cone roof. However, the maximum pressure calculated according to F.4.2 assumed a negative value due to Wind uplift force. What am i suppose to do? Can ignore Wind uplift force? Or, i have to condider Anchorage?
Thanks in advance!
