API 650 Tank plumbness and Roundness check points?

Dear All,

For a tank designed as per API 650, Tank dimension is 43m Dia and 30m height.
For the plumbness and roundness check, how many point shoud be take?
At least 8 points? Does API 650 specify anywhere?

I'm not aware that the standard specifies. Check at verts and at any visually questionable areas, at least.

In general , both plumbness and roundness are inspected at 8 different locations (with 45 degr. divisions) and 3 points for every course unless otherwise mentioned in the tank data sheet.
