Hi all
Im confused about this sentence written in section E.6.2.1.2:
"When tanks are anchored, the resisting weight of the product shall not be used to reduce the calculated uplift load on the anchors.
The anchors shall be sized to provide for at least the following minimum anchorage resistance:
wAB = 1.273*Mrw/D^2-wt*(1-0.4*Av) [N/m], plus the uplift (in N/m) of shell circumference, due to design internal pressure."
That's all fine, but the issue is that in section 5.12.2 and table 5-21a, the formula to calculate uplift due to design internal pressure is there , but it is calculated to [N], while need to have it in N/m
How can I convert to N/m so I can add them together?
Thanks!
