API 682 Requirements for Water-cooled mechanical seals

Dear All,

I required a quotation for a boiler feed water pump. The temperature of feed water entering into the pump is a bit high (around 180 Celsius Degrees.

Some Vendor in their bids declared that the mechanical seals do not need to be cooled, but other Vendors told that the seal cooling is mandatory.

Are there any API 682 mandatory requirement for which, above a certain temperature, the mechanical seala shall be cooled ?
