API 6A PSL 3G

Most vendors dont do PSL 3G on a couple of studded Tees i need. anyone have any information as to that this specification means? All i've been able to get from the vendors is that its something to do with Gas testing, an extra test. hence the G.

Anyone know a place to obtain API 6A PSL 3G fittings?

PSL3 for a tee essentially means fully traceable and volumetrically inspected. If it is flanged ended it an be gas tested. If weld in not sure how they would do a gas test. The gas test is typically for valves to check seat and stem leakage.
