I have a 2 1/2" .750 (XXS Wall) SA53/A106 SA106 API5L PSL2 B C X42 beveled end pipe that has a hexed bevel as seen in picture.
The Outside diameter is with in tolerance but I'm not sure if the Inside diameter is. Actual reading I am getting with a caliper on the Outside Diameter are 1.050 1.100 1.075 .900

The hexing you are seeing is common for heavy wall pipe run on a roll reduction mill. Typically, this product is produced to a minimum wall and maximum weight conditions. You will need to look into the specifications the material was ordered to to see if any of them address a minimum ID requirement. I am not sure about the specs you mentioned, but I would not be surprised if none of them address a minimum ID requirement.

Your takeaway? If you have a minimum ID requirement, be sure it is addressed in your purchasing specifications.
