As per API 560 , All assembled parts shall be hydrotested to a minimum pressure equal to 1.5 times the coil design pressure multiplied by ratio of allowable stress at 38 Deg C to allowable stress at design tube metal temperature. Also the maximum test pressure shall be limited to the extent so that the weakest component shall not be stressed beyond 90% of material's yield strength at ambient temperature.
