HIya,
I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on different application procedures of galvanising? Is it possible to buy it in an aerosal form? I recently saw a site advertising it in aerosal form, cant remember where though.
Also recently heard someone talking about cold dip galvanising. Does anyone know about this?
Many thanks

Galavanizing is done predominantly by electroplating zinc on steel or by dipping steel in molten zinc. Applying it by other means would work, in theory, if the zinc is in electrical contact with the steel and has adequate coverage. I honestly don't know if any such method exists.

If you do a google search on cold galvanizing, you will find several possibilities. There is also a mechanical galvanizing process that may be of interest. Again, google it.
