Appearance missing in PV render (SW2012)

I'm obviously missing something. On some parts in an assembly, weld beads (fillet beads) appear properly in RealView mode on and off, but do not have the appearance (color) when rendered in PV. On some other parts, no problems. Attached image showing fillet beads on some yellow parts being gray, weldments on the A-wings do come out right. Fillet beads on red parts show up properly.

Found it. It appears that for every fillet bead the appearance must be added manually, regardless of the fact that it shows as applied in RealView (on or off). Selecting any other option when applying appearance/color doesn't work in PV renders (body, surface, face, assembly)

Hi Steinmini. Sorry to bother you on this thread but I saw your posts from a year or 2 ago about you modeling an AVID/SRAM BB7 Brake Caliper. That thread has been closed so I could not reply to you on there. I am in need of a CAD model for the Avid BB7 MTB cable disc brakes. The callipers are 74mm post mount callipers and the rotor is a standard 6 bolt mounted rotor.
Did you ever finish your model or do you have anything close to this? If so, would you mind posting it for me? I am Using Catia V5 R19 but a STEP file would be great.

OK, never mind. Can you tell me whether the Hope Calliper model that you posted is a front or a rear calliper? I might be able to use that to help me out a bit. Thanks.

CaptnCanary, go to grabcad.com and type caliper or brake into the search field and you'll find a few well modeled calipers. Registration is free and simple.
