Hello community,
i am trying to find a way of applicate a rubber-resin
pressure sensitive hotmelt. I have read many literature about TEAS graphs and solvent mixing solutions (15% high boiling - 85% low boiling solvents) and hotmelt application
and tried many mixes. All has not worked . I need to have 45-60% adhesive content at least in solution. Better would be more, because of necessary cohesion and quick drying time
(drying time < 15minutes)
Also the way of finding a suitable glue-hotmelt gun fails
till now. The thing is, because the rubber is not saturated i cant go over 185°C melting temperature and must
have at least 150°C. Also making glue sticks wont work because of its PSA nature (tacky at room temperatur).
Does anybody ever has seen a small glue gun or some other
application method for these kind of glues?
kindly regards
Tim
