Application of Pre-load force on a dynamic explicit step - Drop Test

Hi guys,

I am performing a dynamic explicit analysis of a drop impact event on a beam specimen.

Is there any way that I can apply a pre-load force on the frame before the object drops on the beam?

If possible you could do it in an first step, before you do the impact step.

Otherwise you could do the preload analysis in A/Standard and use *Import to transfer the result to Explicit.
