Application of Self-Locking Patch

I have a threaded joint that I would like to make self locking. Neither the male or female portion of the joint is a standard fastener, meaning I can't just go out and buy a self locking fastener. I don't want to use an anaerobic locking compound. I have considered drilling the male threads and installing a nylon pellet per Mil-Dtl-18240 Type N. But I wondered if anyone sells a product that cold be used to create your own spray on patch. I've been searching the internet but have only seen the finished product - screws with a patch already on them. In my case, I want to buy the patch material, and spray it on in the shop.

Has anyone done this that could point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Thanks MintJulep. I had looked at this site before. I don't think they sell a product to make patches. I believe they will apply the patch for you or sell you a fastener with the patch already applied. The user applied products are compounds similar to Loctite products. What I am looking for is a user applied patch.

I think the VC-3, VC-4, VC-5 or VC-6 products do what you are asking.

They are paint on, rather than spray.

Thanks for all the help. It looks like the ND Industries products were closer to what I was looking for than what I thought. I appreciate the input.
