Applied load in each step

Dear collages,

I have one question: how could I know the load applied in each frame of a step? In my case, I have a boundary condition by a triangular displacement simulating a moment in a face (defined by an analytical field). Thank you very much.

What kind of analysis are you performing? If its static analysis with numerical time going from 0 to 1, then the applied load is simply a factor of numerical time at any given time.

By the way, I always refer to the Analysis User's Manual (at least) for such basic questions.

Thank you very much for your response. It is a non-linear analysis (it involves contact, plasticity...). In the monitor I can see stages that Abaqus uses, but I would want to know what is the value of the impossed displacement in each of these steps.

Thank you very much.

Did you apply load or displacement?

These are nonlinearities. My question has to do with the type of analysis or the kind of problem that you are trying to solve: So, are you using a static, or dynamic or explicit analysis? Which analysis did you choose in the step definition?

I guess your question has simply to do with plotting displacement for a node set in ABAQUS/Viewer. If so, check the CAE manual; this is easy.
