Hi All,
I am trying to apply tensile load to general membrane element, M3D4R. I tried using edge shell load, EDNOR on the cross-section surface (1mm thickness, 1m width). I was told that LOAD TYPE EDNOR IS NOT VALID FOR ELEMENT TYPE M3D4R?
And then I tried the pressure loading and was told the error again that SURFACE ASSEMBLY__PICKEDSURF6 INCLUDES EDGES. EXCEPT FOR SHELL EDGE LOADING, SURFACES WHICH INCLUDE EDGES CANNOT BE USED WITH *DSLOAD, *DSFLUX, *SFILM, *SRADIATE, *DSFLOW, *SFLOW, *DSECHARGE, *DSECURRENT, *SIMPEDANCE OR *INCIDENT WAVE.
The problems also apply to the other general membrane element, M3D4, M3D8R.
Could anyone please help me on this? Thanks so much.
