Applying Torque Load & Boundary Conditions

Hi,

I would like to apply torsion to my model. It is a cubical model, 10 x 10 x 10 units. I have another smaller cube in the model, 5 x 5 x 5 units. The x-y origin of the smaller cube is aligned with the x-y origin of the larger cube. The z-planes of each cube are coincident. That is, they share one plane, and they are centered. These two have different materials.

I want to apply a 1 Force-Length torsion on the model. In the picture, I would like to set up a BC so that the orange part of the plane remains planar, but poisson expansion is free to occur.

How do I set up that particular boundary condition (I know how to do other BCs I need) and how do I apply torsion?

How is it applied in real life? Torsion is applied by two equal and opposite forces at some distance apart.

I tried applying equal concentrated loads at equal and opposite locations but only the node where the load was applied was distorted, and the rest of the model unchanged.
 
Torque is applied as a moment in the load manager of the load module of CAE. Put a reference point on the center of the face and use a tie constraint in the interactions module to tie the surface nodes to this reference point, then apply the moment to this reference point.
