I need to perform an analysis on an existing concrete arch bridge. It's a cast in-place concete arch. I cannot find any resources on bridge arch design.
Anything will help

Any decent structural design handbook will do. Try Gaylord and Gaylord. That is usually a great reference.

Thanks Minorchord2000. i will check out that reference. All the structural handbooks I have, have nothing on cast-in-place arch bridge design

I have a copy of "Elastic Arches" by Conde McCullough, which I scanned to CD - in his time he was the D.B. Steinmann of concrete arches.

The management here doesn't like anyone posting e-mail addresses, so I wouldn't be able to mail it to you. If some one knows of a site where I can upload it, I'd be very happy to.

Thank you bridgebuster and SlideRuleEra you can send me the file rmudadi at jrengineering . com
I would appreciate it

I sent a CD with the file to SlideRuleEra. I can't e-mail it; the file is over 61 megs .

Thank you bridgebuster. I contacted SlideRuleEra. I hope to hear from him soon. I really appreciate your help on this. Please keep up the spirit of sharing knowledge.

God bless you

Mudadi - you're very welcome. I just hope the book will be useful.

My thanks to SRE.

"Elastic Arch Bridges", referenced above and provided by bridgebuster, is available at the link below. It is one large .pdf file (about 61 MB) which is zipped (58.6 MB) for downloading.
