Architectural Graphic Standards on hard drive does not open

I can not access data material file AGSCDROM.mat from Architectural Graphic Standards V3 on hard drive after program was copied from a CD. The program will open if I leave the CD in the CD drive.

You could possible burn an ISO image and install as a virtual CD:

My laptop doesn't even come with a CD drive, so such a DRM scheme would be really annoying.
