Looking for alternative suppliers of relay protections and Substation Control Systems I found website of Austrian company SPRECHER AUTOMATION.
The history of this company is looking very serious, but I am curious whether somebody has practical experience with their products. Important points are as usual: Reliability of the products, how easy are they for maintenance, how supportive is staff of the company, etc. Prices are also important, but about them I can ask the company, of course.
Any opinions, either positive or negative will be useful.

A company called Sprecher + Schuh made decent quality control components a year or two ago. If this is the same company in a different guise then I would expect the quality to be pretty good.

Thank you, Scotty, it is the same company.
Do you have some experience with their SCADA system ?

S + S was bought by Rockwell a long time ago and rolled into Rockwell Automation, the same group as Allen Bradley. So I'd be surprised to see them have their own automation product line now. Most of the electronics that S + S made before the buyout have been replaced by brand-labeled versions of the A-B stuff from what I've seen, so most likely any automation equipment they use is the same. It's very expensive to maintain service and support for automation equipment.
