Are there any commercial devices for phase Synchronization of 240v ac

If it is practically possible to genrate electricity from wind generators (small scale) can its output be Synchronized to that of the standard mains supply, so that we do not use so much of the grid supply?

Someone must produce something?

The short and easy answer.
Yes. If you use an induction generator, it can be connected to the mains and will self synchronise and replace some of your energy requirements.
The main isues are;
1> disconnecting at low wind speed so you don't end up makeing wind and paying the electric company for the power you use to do so.
2> Disconnecting in the event of a power failure.
3> Legal and code issues.
There are a couple of open threads discussing windmill generation. Look for threads started by unclemoses.
