I have a problem with nx6. Switching the assembly arrangement from on state to an other an assotiative distance measurement doesn't update.
It updates only when I clicked the measurement or update for external change. I have he latest Nx6 version nx605mp10. What went wrong, a part specific setting? I have an old assy works fine new created files fail with an assotiatve measurement.

I am totally sure of your situation, so I am only offering guesses here:
Make sure that your components are not just "partially loaded" (in "Assembly Load Options").
Also make sure "Load interpart data" is toggled on (also in "Assembly Load Options").

"I am totally sure of your situation" should be "I am NOT totally sure of your situation"

jerry, thanks
- loadoptions are ok, partial loading -> unchecked
load interpartdata is checked - all levels,
any other idea?

This is a non-supported task. The measurement feature is using the actual 3D spatial positions of the components when computing the measurements. When defining multiple arrangements where component are positioned in alternative locations, these are stored as a series of rigid-body or matrix transformations which are applied to the component instances. This results in the correct VISUAL presentation, but does NOT change the actual 3D spatial location of the original component(s).
