I have a water tank assembly that uses an arrangement, but I'm having an issue with it.

The tank lid sub-assy has a elbow fitting that swivels. I created several arrangements to have the elbow fitting pointing in several directions. The tank lid sub-assy then goes into the tank assy. The problem is that the tank is used in several different units and if I change the arrangement in one unit, then it will be like that in the others. Is there a way to set up the arrangement and not not have to change it whenever I open the unit?

Thanks!

Al

Arrangements are assembly specific, which means that it will always revert to the default and must be specifically set in each Assembly where that sub-assembly is used. In other words, it's NOT the sub-assembly which remembers which Arrangement to use, but rather the next level-up Assembly, where the sub-assembly is being used, this is where you make the selection as to which Arrangement you wish to see in effect. That information is then stored in that top-level assembly.
