I have an Assembly with 3 arrangements. The arrangements are 3 degrees, 45 degrees, and 80 degrees respectfully. I have a part that has a sketch which is also in this assembly. Right now when I change my arrangement of the assembly to 45 degrees I also have to change the reference set that I made within the lone part to 45 degrees. The assembly is now true to the eye. There was a lot of work to accomplish this task of making different scenarios within the sketch and making reference sets and changing reference sets when setting the right arrangement.

Is there a better way like not having to change reference sets and linking the ref sets to the correct arrangement. There HAS TO BE a better way.

Please help I am hungry to learn more ways. I would like to just like to hit arrangement and the part tht has a sketch, that is in the arrangement does not have to be touched by changing ref. set. I know arrangements are controlled by mating conditions which is how I made at the assembly level but the part/sketch that has to move from a fixed position is a curved hose that follows a valve. This Sketch is const. to a level where the hose starts bending when rotated. Which is good. the path of the hose consists of 3 radius and 1 angled line.

Thanks

I guess that you have created an Angle constraint first and then the arrangmenets, that change the value of angle constraint.
And now you want to change some values in the sketch, by changing the arrangements in the assembly.

Did you try to establish some interpart expressions? When you have created your 'angle' arrangments, you should have now three expressions in your expression list (one for 3degree, one for 45degree and one for 80degree). Try to connect those with values in your part/sketch.
