arrays in labview

i am trying to make an array in labview 6.i.
i'm trying to make an audiometer and i ve a problem,
i want to press the ok button in the front panel in order to add an element in an array. i've tried to do that by using a for loop but i dont think its gone work. could you help me to find a solution.

Make it just a single variable of the type you want (i.e. string) and then pass it out of the loop. It will turn into an array of that type automatically with the length equal to the number of times the loop ran.

I WANT EACH TIME I PRESS THE OK BUTTON TO ADD ELEMENTS TO AN ARRAY, WHEN I USE THE FOR LOOP IT PASSES THE VARIABLES TO AN ARRAY BUT I WANT TO PRESS JUST ONE TIME THE OK BUTTON AND THEN TO INSERT THE ELEMENT
