I'm undertaking a self study of "Art and Science of Protective Relaying" which is a free download at I'm a young engineer and not a university student.

Does anyone have an answer key for the questions in the back of the chapters? Speaking of, isn't it annoying how hard it is to get references with answers because everything is marketed as a potential textbook?

Specifically I just finished reading chapter 2 and am looking for help with the first problem.

None that I'm aware of. Keep in mind that this book was published over 50 years ago.

If anyone has answers, it would be GE.

But I'm sure if you post a specific question here, you will get a response.

The original publisher was John Wiley & Sons. Maybe they can help.

John Wiley & Sons just gave me the stock answer "we do not release the answers of our books to the public". I think they missed the point.

GE was nicer about not having any idea where the answers could be.

I may post a problem or two from the book later. We could make the "official" Eng-Tips answer sheet!
