Got a small project for some crane runways.
common design. portals, with a UB on corbels.

Just doing all the design checks and I have come to a halt at vertical web loads.

Most of this is pretty straight forward except for a factored bending moment.
There is no real mention of this can I just use Nw*Ey (as per clause 5.3.2)
where Nw is factored wheel load and an Ey is the lateral design eccentricity?

Here you are assessing the interaction of global bending and local transverse [bearing] loads at the top of the web, not torsional loading. This should be your in-plane bending moment on the runway girder. I think it is misleading where they reference Figure 5.7.3.2, since this is really applicable to clause 5.7.3.4 IMO.

Thanks for the reply BJI
While were looking at this case, the standard has no actual reference for unstiffened webs all Web buckling relies on patch loading based on stiffener spacings.
Tips?
