Trying to design a 15 x 100 flat plate bending about the major axis, spanning 2m.

Reading the background theory to plate components in the ASI connection design design guides, it's noted that AS4100 does not accommodate the situation where both edges of your plate are unsupported.

So, here I am thinking of reasons why I can/cannot consider this plate as compact.

Has anyone done this before? How can I take into account LTB?

I've used the second row of Table 5.2 (max compression at unsupported edge, zero stress or tension at supported edge), but used it conservatively as the description doesn't really match the application.
it would be good to get some guidance.

Good idea! In that case it's compact for sectional.

I set Iw = 0 and then found the member capacity. Works a treat!
