Hi,
I was trying to look for some mechnical properties of "2 in Asbestos Cement Faced Fiber Board", and was not successful. The panel was used in built-up roof construction ages ago. Any advice/comments?
Thanks in advance

You are probably looking for a material called "Cemesto", produced by the Celotex Corporation from the mid-30's to maybe as late as the 70's. Check for an old Celotex catalog.

Bridgebuster, I read your ebay comment as we could all buy some cemesto at 99$ a panel... I thought that sounded expensive but then it again it does contain the miracle material of the first half of the century!

That catalog isn't really for "Cemesto". I've been googling hours to find some more info on the cemesto (Found one that sells on eBay). Does anyone have some info on mechanical properties of these things?
Thanks again..

Is the sale of Asbestos boards even legal?
