In the "green book" (i.e. AISC 9th ed. steel manual) from p. 2-259 to 2-291, transformed section properties are given for composite beams. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't those values conservative whether the neutral axis falls within the slab or it doesn't? Thanks in advance.
