I am working on a laundry that will be ventilated with outside air. I need to know what the ASHRAE requiremet for air exchange is for this type of environment (to determine fan size).

Thanks

Funny, I am working on a laundry room retrofit now too. Depending if the dryers are outfitted separately, they will need the most air changes of anything in the room.

Otherwise, treat it as general working conditions. We are providing 20% OA with constant volume units and a motorized exhaust louver for balance.

Some laundries have gas fired appliances that will come under gas regs.
Check with the laundry eqpt manufacturers for further advice.

If no info is available, CIBSE assume 10ac of balanced flow.
