Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and also relatively new to the industry, where I work as a Jr.Piping Materials Engineer.

I am currently working on calculating the pipe thickness for Titanium material, specifically ASTM B861 Grade 2, as per ASME B31.3. To do this, I need to determine the Y-value from Table 304.1.1 (Values of Coefficient Y for t < D/6). However, titanium is not listed in this table, and I'm unsure how to proceed.

I would be very grateful for any advice or suggestions on how to determine the Y-value for titanium material.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!

Use 0.4 for other ductile material. You won't go wrong.
