ASME B31.4 & HDPE pipe 1

I just came across a piping spec which list HDPE pipe (PE3608) as the piping material. I checked B31.4 code and did not find any reference to non metals piping materials.

Does B31.4 allows use of HDPE piping?

You're right. It does not appear to be allowed; consistant with the fact that I have never seen any used under B31.4 anywhere.
