Dear All,
Could any one help to explain the code meaning?
III-112.6 Education, Training, and Experience Requirements for Initial Qualification.
(b) Paragraph 6.2. Documented training or experience gained in positions and activities comparable to those of Levels
I, II, and III prior to establishment of the written practice may be considered when satisfying the criteria for education,
training, and experience, provided the information has been verified by the NDE Level III in accordance with the written practice.
My question is, it's strange for "written practice" application timing.
If the code accept "prior to establishment of the written practice", how does Lv III to apply written practice which document built not yet.
example: If a new Company would like to build NDE system as per ASME, what's first step?
employee a LvIII? Who can certify this LvIII? Employer or Employer's other LvIII?
Then build written practice ?
