Hi There,

Would 1 joint tensile test, 1 face bend, and 3 impact (Charpy) test, satisfies the mechanical test requirements of a PQR to ASME IX/ASME B31.3?

Here is a tip;

1. Review Table 323.2.2 in ASME B31.3 for impact requirements, this is the governing code for construction.

2. Once you have this information, qualify the WPS per the guidelines in Section XI.
