Does anyone know is there any ASME material that is equivalent to DIN 15NiCuMoNb5V (ISO 1.6368) for pressure vessel at elevated temperature? What pressure and temperature that this material can go up to?
Is this material accepted by AMSE code to be used? Could you please point out for me.

This material can be used up to 500 Deg. C
No pressure limit , but max. thickness for plates is 300 mm.
It was developed for steam drums.
There is no ASME equivalent.

Thank you.
What are the advantages of this material against other ASME approved material?
If there is no ASME equivalent. Is there any way to use this material with the project that use ASME code for the design? How could I do that? What testing will need to be performed?

The advantage is the high yield stress at temperature(about double of SA 516 Gr.70),so you can construct thinner and cheaper.
You can not use it for ASME Code because UG-10 of ASME VIII-1 can not be fullfilled.The material can not be certified to an exiisting ASME specification. Besides that, designing to ASME will not result in thinner walls because the Tensile devided by 3.5 would be gouverning over the yield devided by 1.5 for the allowable stress calculations. European Codes use Tensile over 2.4 and yield over 1.5.

9415;
Your only other option if you wanted to use this material for an ASME certified vessel is to submit a Code Case with ASME. Otherwise, ijzer is correct.

The right way to start your problem is :
What type of ASME base metal to choose being close to 15NiCuMoNb5 ?

1) 15NiCuMoNb5 can be classified +/- P 3 Group 3 according to ASME IX ;
2) According to ASME II Pard D you have to chose a base metal acceptable according to Table 1A (for ASME VIII Div. 1 or ASME 1) and satisfying the design temperature for exemple 500 °C .
3) the answer is :
a) SA 302 Grade B
b) SA 302 Grade C
c) SA 302 Grade D

To complete my previous answer, if your vessel is to be designed according to ASME VIII Div. 1 :
You can add (in addition to a-b-c) the following Base Metal:

d) SA 533 Grade A
