ASME Sec. VIII UG-84.6 on formerly qualified Sec. IX WPS's

Is there anything allowing sec.IX WPS's qualified with CVN to sec.VIII earlier than 2013 to be used on 2013 and newer Div. VIII work without adding the new CVN requirements of UG-84.6, if applicable?

Where impact testing is a requirement, I shall verify if QW-170 is satisfied in previous qualification.
If QW-170 is satisfied, then WPS qualified as per any previous edition of Section IX (not older than 1962 edition)be used for 2013 Edition of Section VIII-1. This is how, I read and understand Section IX.
