HI,
ANYBODY EXPLAIN ME THAT HOW TO MAKE 5"DIA X 8"DIA X 50"LG. SPOOL PIECE FOR STEAM OUTLET?
I WANT TO MOUNT 5" CHECK VALVE AND 8" STOP VALVE ON OUR BOILER'S STEAM OUTLET 8" FLANGE.
CUSTOMER WANT THIS WAY ONLY!!!!!!!!!!
PLS. HELP ME ASAP.....

Once you know the design conditions, you can refer to ASME B31.1 Power Piping for minimum pipe wall and appropriate fittings (ASME B16.9). I would suggest that you use butt welded valves (see ASME B16.34) for this pipe diameter.

There is not enough information to help you. What are the design conditions (MAWP and design temperature) at the superheater outlet?
