I was going in depth in ASME BPVC II-D:2017, both the metric & US (customary) version. For table 1A, I found that the notes between both versions arent the same; review notes H6 & H7 of table 1A for the USC version. Upon further review, by going through table 1A to see where the notes are applicable, I found that the USC version includes H6, which reads
Material shall be solution annealed at 2010°F to 2140°F, followed by a rapid cooling in water or air.
This note isnt found in the metric version.

Note H6 of the USC version is applicable to
[ul]
[li]Page 82, lines 3 & 4; SA-240 UNS S30601[/li]
[li]Page 114, lines 25 ÷ 34; SA-182/240/312/479 UNS S30600[/li]
[li]Page 114, lines 43 ÷ 46; SA-213/240 UNS S32615[/li]
[li]Page 118, line 1 ÷ 4; SA-312/479 UNS S32615[/li]
[/ul]
These materials arent found in table 1A, metric edition. Why does the code has different materials in the codes, if the user is free to go for either the metric ro US customary version?

Likely an oversight. Please submit an inquiry to the Section II Code Committee (secretary).
