ASME SecVIII Div1 Inside Diameter of Shell

Good day to all.

The difference between the maximum and minimum inside diameters at any cross section shall not exceed 1% of the nominal diameter at the cross section under consideration as per ASME Section VIII Div1 so that’s meaning is ovality. I wonder what is the tolerance for inside diameter due to Asme SecVIII Div1 and I didn’t see exactly tolerance about this.

oguzzz, if you are asking if there is a plus tolerance on the 1% figure, my interpretation is no.
