I did a Calculation of 13-10 UNREINFORCED VESSELS HAVING AN OBROUND CROSS SECTION. The value of stress I obtained was high. I checked all the calculations and have doubts about two things: [ol 1] The value of Moment of Inertia, which is bt^3/12. Neutral axis to Extreme distance (c). I used this value to be t/2. [/ol] I have attached the image of the inputs and results that I used in the calculation. Can anyone clarify my doubts? Note: This calculation was done for Obround Nozzle

I did a Calculation of 13-10 UNREINFORCED VESSELS HAVING AN OBROUND CROSS SECTION.

The value of stress I obtained was high. I checked all the calculations and have doubts about two things:
