Hey guys,
I been working on a amine H2S and CO2 scrubbing for a while on aspen and for some reason although the column and simulation converges, there is no reaction occurring. Below are the parameters:
Radfrac: 10 stages rate based
Property method/ package: imported Kemdea so using electrnl
Packed column: pall ring 25mm
Lean amine: 30 wt solvent in water at 50 C and 1300 kpa
Acid gas: mainly propane with 10ppm hs2 and co2 1600 kpa
Target: 1ppm h2s
Anyone have any idea or suggestions on why there is no reaction occurring? Could it be a property method issue? I appreciate any help! Thanks!
