Hey guys, had a question. I am running CATIA V5.18 SP4 and am running into a problem.
I'm exporting an assembly from SolidWorks into CATIA as an .STP. I get CATIA to read the STP in and save as a converted document. From thereon out, I open my big assembly, which the smaller exported assembly is a part of. The problem is - the converted smaller assembly is visible when I open it in its own window, but whenever I open the big one, and "components-load" just the smaller assembly, it does not become visible. Selecting within the bigger assembly tree, does show a dashed line representation of the smaller one, but, not a normal picture of it, and only when the tree is selected. Long story short - the smaller assembly is present, but not normally displayed unless I open it separately.
What's the deal?
