Here's a summary of the problem:
I have a large assembly with multiple assembly levels.
I've a part that has features I would like to remove with a simplified rep, so I create a rep. At the higher levels of the assembly there are assembly cuts interfacing that part. When I create a simp rep in the assembly and have the assembly substitute the simp rep of the part all the assembly cuts that interface that part disappear.
Does anyone know why that occurs? Is there a way to get the assembly cuts to stay when using the substitute of the part at a higher simp rep in the assembly?
Thanks!
