Hi,

What are, in Assembly Navigator Toolbar, the differences among all open option?

Component
Child Components
Assembly
Component Fully
Start Part

When I choose "Component Fully" it takes more time than the other option....What else does this option do in addidition?

Thanks

Fully opening a Component means that ALL the data in the Part file from which the Component was derived will be loaded into memory even if the majority of the data is not visible or relevant for the Assembly that you're working on. Normally, with partial loading ON, only the geometric data, which prior to NX 7.5 meant what was in the working Reference Set, but now could also mean only the lightweight representation, is loaded and the rest of the model, which could include sketches, reference curves and surface, and even drafting and manufacturing information if you're not using the Master Model approach, is not loaded into memory. However, when you say Load Fully, all of the part data is downloaded (which is where the extra time comes in) even if you may never have a need to access any of it while working in your Assembly.
