Assembly sequencing

Hi all,

I'm attempting to use assembly sequencing and have created a nice animation but how do i export it to a video file? I'm using NX4.

Also, I seem to remember seeing a demonstration where it rotated the bolts when it animated them being removed.

Mark,

You can either open the file in NX6, where Movie capture is available, or use a 3rd party product. I use Camtasia, from techsmith.

I've exported a movie from NX7 but is it possible to render each frame so the finished product looks nicer?

It sounds like you want to do an Animation session where you can convert it into a high-res movie, like this:

Hi,

Yes that's exactly what I'm after, that's a nice video so thank you. Was that all done within NX? If so can anyone point me in the right direction? I've created animations in other packages before but can't seem to figure out rendering within NX at all

Firstly you need a studio visualisation license. Many bundles have these, but some users may not.

What I have been doing for the very best quality results is to create animations which output tiff files and then concatenate them into videos as individual frames using external video editing software.
