I have an assembly template I start with for each project. I clone it for each new project. Some how recently my assembly template now has an association to a subassembly from a recent project. What happens when I try to clone my assembly template and I do a dry run I receive a failure naming report for this foreign subassembly. For the life of me I cant not find HOW this subassembly is linked to my assembly template. The foreign subassembly is not in the ANT and I dont see an expression that is linked to it. What rock am I not turning over?...thx...Fred

Try a part cleanup with the 'delete unused objects' option checked.

Thanks, I tried that with no success...I also tried part cleanup (work part and components)with everything minus the serious delete actions and its still there...its like a bad penny.

never mind ....I found it it was buried in a component file and unloaded...I cleanup it up and its all good...thx
