Assembly will not update !!!!!

Hi, I am new to proe. I have created an assembly using bottom up method. When I make a change to the sketched file the part and the assembly do not reflect the changes. Is there something that I need to do to cause this to happen, or should proe do it automatically?

Instead of making changes in sketch file i.e section file,(.sec*) make your changes in part file section and regenerate features. I don't think there is connectivity between section file and part file.
Once you change the section in part file, automatically Pro/E updates that part in assembly.
