From the oil furanic results one can access the percentage of remaining life of the transformer. The degree of polymerisation (DP)value helps to calculate the percentage remaining life of the transformer. Suppose if the DP is 800 it indicates a Good transformer, and a DP of 200 indicates end of life.
Can anybody help me and say how the % remaining life can be calculated of a transformer if say the DP value comes to 378.
