To Expert,
I want to assign Axial and Radial stiffness to a Cbush element. As a first step, I used "Enable CSYS Override" option in the Edit Mesh Associated Data under the cbush element entry to change the Coordinate System to Cylindrical and defined the local CSYS. Then, I assigned the stiffness in the PBUSH entry table. Here, I do not see R, T and Z entries however I assumed X for Radial stiffness entry (Example 100 N/mm), Y for Tangential stiffness entry (Example 0 N/mm) and Z for Axial stiffness entry (Example 10 N/mm). NO entries for rotations
1] Is that correct?
2] Do we have to assign any values for rotations ( X, Y, Z)?
3] When I look at the displacements in the results, it shows both Translations and Rotations. What is the meaning of rotations ( R T Z) in the Cylindrical Coordinate system?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
