Hi,
I have a 5m x 5m x 0.1m G10 plate to analyze. It is subjected to pressurization load.
I have never dealt with a composite, so assuming that the wrap and the wept fibers are along X and Y axis, what should the E in x y z, Poisson's Ratio in XY YZ XZ and Shear modulus in XY YZ XZ be representing?
Say Ex is the modulus Lengthwise and Ey Crosswise, will Ex = Ey in this case? Ez would be ?
Will NUxy be = NUyz for a square plate?
Will Gxy = Ey/(2*(1+NUxy)) ?
Any spec sheet where I can find these specs for G10?
Also, how does one assign a Simply Supported boundary condition to a Plate?
Thank you.
