Associating Origin to 2 separate entities for H&V positioning

Hi,

I was wondering if I could associate 2 draft entities such as notes or dimensions so they would be aligned to each other in the Vertical direction and to other entities in the Horizontal direction. My guess is that this functionality does not exist.
Please confirm or deny if this is possible and if you have workarounds.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If I´m not misstaken you could do it through "edit origin", but I can´t understand why you would do that.
